Coat Color Predictor

I recently had a lot of fun making a dog genotype prediction program in Flash. My brother sells silver labradors and he originally offered the program as an excel file that his clients and visitors to his website could use to predict offspring traits for the dogs they bred. He asked me to create the Flash version in order to make it more useful and better accessible on his website.

Everything came together very smoothly. I adjusted the layout and imagery to something understandable and unique, based on his system for identification. I had a few problems figuring out the best way gather the gene data, but figured out the pattern (a flash of inspiration as I was trying to fall asleep one night!) and solved the issue by entering the data into a large array. I love when I can figure things out and they work!
